All character types are permitted pets, however there are some restrictions depending on character type. Pet's should be considered secondary characters, roleplayed on the same account as their owner. They are completely optional. There is no need to do any claims for your character's pets. Only pets that actually exist in real life are permitted. Common pets are more likely to be approved than uncommon ones (ie we will accept more cats than we will hedgehogs).
Locals and Academy Faculty who do not live on campus
Locals and Academy Faculty who do not live on Academy grounds do not have restrictions on the number of pets they can have.
Students and Academy Faculty who live on campus
Students and Academy Faculty who live on Academy grounds are permitted:
(1) Horse (or similar animal)
(1) Well Behaved Companion Pet
You can create a pet for your character when you create your character or you can add them in later.
To create a pet at the same time as your character:
Create the thread for your pending character app, (make sure to label it as a wip until it's done.)
Reply to the thread you created for your character app with the pet app form (below).
When you're finished with all pets and your character's profile form remove the wip label from your thread.
A mod will then review your pets at the same time as your character.
To create a pet after having created their owner character:
Go to your character's approved profile thread.
Reply to the thread with your pet app form (below).
When you are finished reply to THIS thread with a link to your character's thread.
A mod will then know to go there and review your pets.

Replace everything in ALL CAPS with your response.
