Roman’s got a pretty intimidating figure. He’s always been big for his age. Years of daily Rugby training have made him broad as well as tall. He’s fairly muscular, but that’s somewhat hidden under a layer of chub that won't go away no matter how much he exercises or what diets he goes on. He’s got brown hair and hazel eyes.

He was chubby as a kid and he got made fun of a lot for it. When his dad suggested that he join a rugby team in the hopes it would help him make friends, Roman didn’t want to. But his dad insisted so he did. It ended up being a good decision because Roman found out he was actually really good at it. The more he worked at Rugby the better shape he got in and the more popular he got. He was happy, he had a sport he loved, he wasn’t being picked on anymore, he actually had friends for once.
But when his dad realized how good he was at rugby, he insisted that Roman apply for Brightvale. Roman knows Brightvale will be great for his future but it really sucked going from being the best at his old school to just being standard at Brightvale. He’s struggling in some of his classes and while he’s still pretty popular he doesn’t really feel like he has any friends.

Roman is always haunted by the memory of the mean things people said and did to the fat little kid he used to be. He’s desperate for approval and acceptance and mistakes popularity for having friends. He works so hard to make people think he’s confident, even though he is far from it, that he often comes off as cocky and rude.
