Characters

Characters can be divided into several groups. Some rules apply to all character groups, while others are group specific.

General Character Rules

• All genders/sexualities/ages permitted. At this moment, there are no restrictions on genders, sexualities, or ages.
• There is no magic/special abilities in this rp. If that is what you are looking for please consider our affiliates and advertisement board, because this is not the forum for you.
• You are permitted as many characters as you can handle. If a moderator notices you are neglecting one or more characters they will ask you to either make them more active or retire them.
• Please try to have a variety of characters. We do not want to have to put restrictions on registration of new characters in order to maintain a demographically balanced forum, but we will if we need to. In order to avoid this we ask that you make your characters vary in gender, sexuality age and type on your own.

Students

• Students at Brightvale Academy must be good at something. They've had to beat out hundreds if not thousands of other applicants in order to be here. Making characters that struggle in the intense competition of the school is fine, they're competing against the best of the best and someone has to come out on bottom but please do not make any characters that could never have attained entrance into the school.
• Students are permitted to bring a horse, if they have one, as well as one well behaved companion pet.
• Students can be as young as seven and as old as twenty one.
• Students are required to live in student dorms while they attend Brightvale Academy.

Teachers

• Teachers must know what they are doing. Competition for their jobs are almost as steep as it is for the students.
• Teachers must have a specific subject/class that they teach. This can be claimed in the claims center.
• Teachers may live in Brightvale Academy's Faculty Housing or they may arrange their own accommodations in the town of Brightvale.

Academy Staff

• Academy Staff must have a specific job which can be claimed in the claims center.
• Academy Staff may live in Brightvale Academy's Faculty Housing or they may arrange their own accommodations in the town of Brightvale.

Locals

• All Locals live in or around the town of Brightvale.
